Plunge Account Questions

I forgot my username and password. What do I do?

When attempting to log into your Plunge Account, follow the username retrieval and password reset instructions. Please contact Special Olympics Minnesota with any questions or concerns regarding your Plunge Account.

I have more than one Plunge Account. What do I do?

In order to properly track online donations, it is best to only have one active account. If you have more than one account, please log in and delete any account that is not actively receiving donations. Please contact Special Olympics Minnesota with any questions or concerns regarding your Plunge Account.

Do I have to register and fundraise online?

No. If you would like to participate in the Polar Plunge, you may register the day of the Plunge, turn in any offline donations you may have and submit a credit card donation at check-in. Please contact Special Olympics Minnesota with any questions or concerns regarding registration for the Polar Plunge.

Do all team members need to register online?

Yes. Joining a team is a simple process within the online registration process. Individuals registering the day of the Plunge will be registered as an individual. Day-of registrants may still Plunge with their desired “teammates”, but registration records and fundraising efforts will not be added to any team totals.

I can’t make it to the Plunge I registered for. What do I do?

You may change the location of your Plunge registration at any time. Please contact Special Olympics Minnesota if you are having trouble figuring out how to edit your registration or would like more information regarding transferring your registration to a new location.

Is my Plunge Account and the Polar Plunge website secure?

Yes. There is a valid secure socket layer (SSL) certificate installed on the website. All transactions are encrypted by Comodo. Some elements are set up to bypass the certificate and are used for tracking website statistics, not for collecting any personal or financial information.
